Dataset Description This dataset contains the quantitative data from a doctoral study examining childhood experiences, discrimination, mental health, wellbeing, and help-seeking among LGBTIQ+ individuals in Honduras. Data were collected in 2024–2025 through a non-probabilistic online survey with 404 Honduran adults (18 years or older). The dataset includes 139 variables organized into thematic blocks. All data were fully anonymized prior to publication, and no identifying information is included. Variables and instruments included Demographic questionnaireAge, sex assigned at birth, gender identity, sexual orientation, education level, residence, and identity visibility. Childhood experiences Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System – ACE Module (CDC, 2020).11 items assessing abuse, household dysfunction, and family adversity before age 18. Benevolent Childhood Experiences (BCEs)Narayan et al. (2018).10 dichotomous items assessing supportive and protective childhood experiences. Discrimination experiences Multiple Discrimination Scale (Bogart et al., 2013)10 items assessing discrimination due to sexual orientation or gender identity in the past year. Mental health outcomes Depression – PHQ-9 (Kroenke et al., 2001)9 items, 4-point Likert scale. Anxiety – GAD-7 (Spitzer et al., 2006)7 items, 4-point Likert scale. Somatic symptoms – SSS-8 (Gierk et al., 2014)8 items, 5-point Likert scale.
