The dataset contains results of physicochemical measurements of surface water collected within hydrochemical and hydrological research campaigns conducted at selected sampling sites within the Drwinka River catchment. In situ measurements included basic physical and chemical water parameters such as temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, and dissolved oxygen, performed using WTW multi-meters. In addition, water samples were collected into 500 mL polyethylene bottles for laboratory analyses. Laboratory analyses included the determination of major ions (Ca, Mg, Na, K, HCO3, Cl, SO4) as well as nitrogen (NH4, NO3, NO2, TIN, TON, TN), phosphorus (PO4), and carbon compounds (TC, TIC, TOC),using ion chromatography and elemental analyzers. The dataset includes information on sampling locations, sampling dates, applied analytical methods, and complete measurement results. The data may be used for hydrochemical analyses, biogeochemical process modelling, and surface water quality assessment. The data are made available under the principles of Open Access and are licensed under the CC BY 4.0.
