VPRS 19407 Resources Utilisation Committee Minutes

This series comprises volumes recording monthly meeting minutes of the Resources Utilisation Committee of Prince Henry's Hospital (VA 441).  The minutes of the preliminary meeting of the Resources Utilisation Committee are dated 11 March 1980. It was resolved that the membership of the Committee should be as follows: Senior Vice President, Honorary Treasurer, Chief Executive, Director of Medical Services, Director Of Nursing, Deputy Chief Executive, Director of Financial Services, and one member of the full time medical staff with clinical involvement, one member of the visiting medical staff with clinical involvement, and one member of the Nursing staff. The name of the committee was changed to the Resources Committee in October 1982. It remained a sub-committee of the Board of Management. Matters for consideration at meetings included monitoring of the Operating Account, particularly in relation to future budgets, salaries and wages, consumables, a stock report, staff establishment and overtime, and in 1983/84, the implementation of the 38 hour week.
