High-speed rail lines length worldwide by region 2022

While Asia Pacific currently boasts the longest high-speed railway network in the world, with more than 44,500 kilometers in total, Europe has the second-longest network at around 12,400 kilometers. Currently, there are no high-speed rail lines in operation in Latin America. The region is still in preliminary planning stages when it comes to future high-speed rail projects across the continent.
