These datasets and code support an examination of how well research outputs associated with electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), and shared on the Figshare platform, adhere to the FAIR principles.<br>Metadata were harvested using the Figshare API (https://docs.figshare.com). The resulting datasets include a 710 metadata records for datasets, figures, and media and 46 Collections that surfaced in a search for 'Thesis OR dissertation."<br><br>Aspects of this work were presented as a poster at the Southeast Data Librarian Symposium 13-15 October 2021. A link to the poster will be added.<br>
