Three KPC-2-producing ST307 CRKP and three NDM-5-positive ST307 CRKP strains were isolated from two hospitals in Shanghai and Zhejiang. Phylogenetic analysis revealed the clonal outbreak among the four isolates in this study, with a maximum of nine single-nucleotide polymorphisms. The study sought to eluciate the resistance characterises of ST307 CRKP strains circulating in China, and reveal the genetic relatness with the ST307 K. pneumoniae strains isolated in the world.
