Repeated whole-genome duplications shape local and regional divergence in floral morphology in Lithophragma bolanderi (Saxifragaceae)

Polyploidization (whole-genome duplication) is an important driver of evolution and diversification in flowering plants. Here, we assess how repeated polyploidization may have shaped diversification in floral morphology in Lithophragma bolanderi (Saxifragaceae). The re-sequencing data here are used to identify the state and origin of polyploidization in the tetra- and hexa-ploid populations of L. bolanderi.
