We compared transcriptomes of CD34(high)EPCR-positive with CD34(high)EPCR-negative cells after 10-days culture in PCL-PVAc-PEG based 3a medium. It was because our culture condition had not previously reported and so we demonstrated that phenotypic HSCs were concentrated in EPCR-positive fraction as conventional UM171-based culture system. As a result, CD34(high)EPCR-positive cells highly expressed HSC markers (HLF, AVP, PRDM16 and FGD5) compared with CD34(high)EPCR-negative cells. Overall design: mRNA profile of CD34(high)EPCR-positive and CD34(high)EPCR-negative cells derived from 10-days cultured cord blood CD34+ cells.
