Ministry of Agriculture and Food/DPMA — Shom The product “Limites relative to fishing uses” contains the maritime limits related to fishing uses and derived from French and European regulations. These limits are managed by the Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture Directorate (DPMA) of the Department of agriculture and Food. These limits are divided into three categories: — the inland limit of the coastal fishing strip (6 nautical miles); — the limit of 3 nautical miles; — the overseas fishing limit (100 nautical miles). The product “Limits relating to fishing uses” shall be used in addition to the digital product “Marine Delimitations” of the Shom, which represents the limits of the maritime areas of sovereignty or jurisdiction of the France in the world. The product “Marine Delimitations” can be viewed on data.shom.fr (Maritime Limits category) and can be downloaded from the national maritime boundary portal (https://limitesmaritimes.gouv.fr).
