Including romantic partners in interventions is a promising strategy to facilitate health behaviour change. There is a growing number of studies focusing on dyadic interventions. To synthesize information across studies and to systematically develop theory-informed interventions, a shared nomenclature to describe the components of dyadic interventions was developed: The compendium of dyadic intervention techniques (DITs).
