Global Preindustrial, 20th Century, and RCP Greenhouse Gas Concentrations and Their Extension, 1765-2500

This data set provides harmonized and consolidated anthropogenically-affected greenhouse gas concentration data sets for the pre-industrial control runs, 20th century, and the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project, Phase 5
(CMIP5). The historical atmospheric concentrations as well as concentrations for the RCPs (2005-2100) and their extension to 2300 (ECPs) are provided for the following gases: CO2, CH4, N2O, all flourinated gases controlled under the Kyoto Protocol (HFCs, PFCs, and SF6), and ozone depleting substances controlled under the Montreal Protocol (CFCs, HCFCs, Halons, CCl4, CH3Br, CH3Cl).
