Litoditis_marina_microbiome_foodexp

We sequenced the microbiome of ten individuals of two cryptic species of Litoditis marina (Pm1 and Pm3). These species were subjected to two different food treatments (B= bacterial mix; E= E.coli). In addition, two pieces of agar of the stockculture per species (C) were added and 2 drops of the bacterial mix (bactmix).We aimed to see whether there are differences in the microbial communities associated with these nematodes and investigated whether the microbiomes can be related to their food source. If so, resource partitioning may be an important driver of their coexistence.
