Mayor's Community Infrastructure Levy Band 2

The Mayor's Community Infrastructure Levy 2019 (known as MCIL 2) is used to help finance Crossrail 1 (the Elizabeth Line) and Crossrail 2. It sets a general charge for all development across London as well as specific charges for office, retail and hotel development in Central London and the Isle of Dogs. The layers ‘MCIL2 Charging Band 1’, ‘MCIL2 Charging Band 2’ and ‘MCIL2 Charging Band 3’ indicate the three MCIL2 charging bands for all development in London except for office, retail and hotel in Central London and the Isle of Dogs.
