Tick-borne encephalitis in Poland, 1998–2024: master surveillance dataset
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is a consolidated, machine-readable record of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in Poland from 1998 to 2024, assembled from official publicly-available surveillance products and used as the analytic base for an accompanying surveillance article in preparation for Eurosurveillance. For each of Poland's 16 voivodeships (NUTS-2 administrative regions) and for the country as a whole, the dataset contains: annual notified TBE case counts; quarterly breakdown of cases by onset (Q1–Q4); annual incidence per 100,000 inhabitants; hospitalised case counts and percentages; and annual TBE vaccination registrations, stratified by age (0–19, 20+, total). Case data are drawn from the National Institute of Public Health–National Institute of Hygiene (NIZP-PZH) biweekly bulletin Meldunki epidemiologiczne; vaccination data from the NIZP-PZH annual report Szczepienia ochronne w Polsce; population denominators from the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS). Vaccination figures count persons completing the primary three-dose cycle or receiving a booster, not total doses. Released under CC BY 4.0. See README for full column dictionary, scope, and known limitations. An accompanying Python script reproduces the four manuscript figures directly from this dataset.
