St. Peter's Church, Siuntio

The paintings of St Peter´s Church (built 1460–1489) in Siuntio (Uusimaa) are dated in the early decades of the 16th century, namely between 1510–1530. They bear resemblance to the paintings made by Albertus Pictor and his group in the late 15the century to the churches of Upland region in Sweden. There are significant similarities in the placement of the motifs that form typology of Old and New Testament. Some of the paintings in the Siuntio Church have been destroyed, especially the ones on the north and south walls. The vault paintings are still visible.
