Ura and Thangatha River Flow and Nyambene Watershed Tree Cover Change Data

The dataset includes river flow data for the Ura (4F09) and Thangatha (4F20) Rivers, which were reported daily and summarised monthly and annually between 1957 and 1996 and 1967 and 2001 for Ura and Thangatha, respectively. Likewise, the dataset includes Nyambene watershed tree cover change data extrapolated between 1960 and 2020. The dataset is used to model the impact of tree cover changes on river flow dynamics in watersheds in Kenya using vector autoregressive (VAR) models.
