The given files are developed in the project AscentAM and provide supplementary material to the PhD thesis “Adaption of Numerical Methods to the Specific Requirements of the Thermal Simulation in Laser Beam Melting”. Specifically, it is the source code of the Free Software Three-Dimensional Structural Finite Element Program CalculiX CrunchiX (http://www.calculix.de/, Version 2.14), which is extended by the “LBM Multirate Method” and the “LBM-Specific Direct Solving Strategy” developed in the PhD thesis.
