Dataset for: Mineral-Driven Taphonomy of Intact Phospholipid Biosignatures: Smectite Stabilization and Basalt Reactivity Govern Extracellular Persistence with Implications for Subsurface Biomass Estimation
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the numerical data underlying Figures 1 and 2 and Table 1 of the manuscript: "Mineral-Driven Taphonomy of Intact Phospholipid Biosignatures: Smectite Stabilization and Basalt Reactivity Govern Extracellular Persistence with Implications for Subsurface Biomass Estimation" (Sidhu et al.). FILES INCLUDED- Dataset_1_Kinetics.csv: Time-series extractable concentrations of intact 14:0-18:0 PC across the 11-day incubation at 75°C (Figure 1, Table 1).- Dataset_2_Endpoints.csv: Terminal (Day 11) extractable concentrations of intact 14:0-18:0 PC and its primary hydrolysis intermediates, 14:0 LPC and 18:0 LPC (Figure 2).- Readme.txt: Dataset documentation and column definitions. DATA DICTIONARY- Matrix: Experimental matrix (Aqueous, Bentonite, or Basalt).- pH: Initial aqueous pH of the system (3, 5, 9, or 11).- Time (hours): Incubation duration at 75°C prior to destructive sampling and extraction.- Analyte: Quantified lipid species (Intact 14:0-18:0 PC, 14:0 LPC, or 18:0 LPC).- Conc (µg/mL): Mean operationally extractable concentration (n = 2–3), scaled to the initial 10 mL vial volume. Values of 0.000 indicate the analyte was below the practical quantitation limit.- Standard Error: Standard error of the mean from independent replicates. T=0 measurements represent initial method control recovery (0.986 µg/mL; SE = 0.0015, rounded to 0.002). Blank cells indicate the analyte was below the PQL.
