Dataset for:Research on the impact of cross-platform user transition probability on public opinion affective polarization

This dataset comprises online public opinion data regarding the "Children's Blood Lead Abnormality Incident in Tianshui, China," collected from Weibo and Toutiao over a 120-hour period spanning from 19:24 on July 20, 2025, to 19:30 on July 25, 2025. Following systematic data cleaning and preprocessing, 7,427 valid comments from Weibo and 11,047 from Toutiao were retained. Below are the anonymized user comment sentiment data and the associated code.
