2011 census: Indicators for resident population, households, housing and buildings by census section

The dataset contains 43 statistical indicators calculated on the basis of the 2011 Census data for the Census sections. The indicators are defined as follows: * 1) Average number of residents per residential building; * 2) Average number of dwellings per residential building; * 3) Average number of dwellings occupied by residents per residential building; * 4) Percentage of buildings for residential use in bad or mediocre state of conservation; * 5) Average age of residential buildings; 6) Percentage of residential buildings of 4 or more floors with lift; * 7) Population over 65 per 100 young people (0-14 years) (Old age index); 8) Percentage of preschool children; * 9) Percentage of seniors over 85; * 10) Young people (0-14 years) and over 65 years old every 100 in active age (15-64 years) (dependency index); * 11) Percentage of residents more than 5 years old who lived 5 years earlier outside Milan (indicator of attractiveness); * 12) Percentage of dwellings in buildings built in the last 20 years (significant of building expansion); * 13) Percentage of unoccupied dwellings; * 14) Percentage of single parent families; * 15) Percentage of households without income earners; 16) Percentage of families with a maximum income of 5 or more; * 17) Percentage of over 65 years of age living alone; * 18) Percentage of occupied dwellings with less than 15 sqm per occupant (overcrowding indicator); * 19) Percentage of males; * 20) Percentage of celibates/nubiles; * 21) Percentages of widowers; * 22) Population at age 55-64 years per 100 young people aged 15-24 years (Replacement index of active population); * 23) Population aged 40-64 years every 100 people aged 15-39 years (Active Population Structure Index); * 24) Children of 0-4 years old each woman aged 15-49 years (load of preschool children for fertilised woman); * 25) Young people (0-14 years) every 100 in active age (15-64 years) (Youth Addiction Index); * 26) Over65 years per 100 people of active age (15-64 years) (Old Addiction Index); * 27) Percentage of population aged 15 and over who earns income from the total population 15 years and over; * 28) Percentage of illiterates in the total population aged 6 years or older; * 29) Population percentage with university degrees or university degrees of 30-34 years of the total population of 30-34 years; * 30) Percentage of foreigners and stateless persons; * 31) Percentage of Africans in total foreigners and stateless persons; * 32) Percentage of Asians in total foreigners and stateless persons; * 33) Percentage of foreigners from other areas (no Africa and no Asia) of total foreigners and stateless persons; * 34) Percentage of resident population moving daily for study or work; * 35) Percentage of resident population that moves daily for study or work in Milan on the total population that moves daily for study or work; * 36) Percentage resident population that moves daily for study or work outside Milan on the total population that moves daily for study or work; * 37) Percentage of families residing in rented houses; * 38) Percentage of households residing in property housing; * 39) Average number of household members; * 40) Percentage of families of a member; * 41) Average surface area (sqm) of dwellings occupied by at least one resident; * 42) Percentage of residential buildings built before 1946; * 43) Percentage of residential buildings with only one residential interior.
