Cellulose-degrading bacteria play an important role in the degradation and utilization of crop straw. This study screened a highly efficient cellulose-degrading strain SSF12 from humus soil using CMC selective medium, its cellulolytic potential was determined using the DNS method, and its entire genome was sequenced using three-generation Pacbio Sequel and two-generation Illumina Novaseq platforms.
