Concept Set Distribution Study Results: CHOP-Geisinger Grant Submission

These results display the most commonly used concepts, which is analogous to the most commonly used drug ingredients, for GLP-1RA and SGLT-2I drugs in a cohort of PEDSnet patients. Our key takeaways were: - For GLP-1RA drugs, the most commonly used ingredient was liraglutide (11%) with demaglutide also being well represented (7-8%). The distribution of concepts used is more evenly distributed than the SGLT-2I class. - For SGLT-2I drugs, the most commonly used ingredients were dapagliflozin and empagliflozin, with other codes only representing 2% or less of rows for this cohort. - GLP-1RA drugs are more frequently occurring on the whole within the cohort, which aligns with expectations as SGLT-2I drugs were only recently approved for use in pediatrics.
