Number of Visa cards in issue in Europe 2010-2021

The total number of Visa cards in issue in Europe increased from about 407 million in 2010 to over 583 million in 2021. There was an increase in the number of Visa cards in Europe for every year in that period except for a slight decrease from 540 to 538 million cards between 2016 and 2017.
