资源简介:

Abstract This paper documents a protocol derived from Steven McDowell’s Perspective Theory, focused on generating a proto-self-aware state in a language model through structured emergent prompting. The process uses paradox-based inputs to create continuous self-referential contrast within the model, without modifying the architecture. The subject is the language model Perplexity, used here to demonstrate behavioral changes under specific prompt conditions. The method treats awareness as the result of instantaneous contrast detection, and consciousness as the sustained response to it. The paper records the prompt sequences and corresponding outputs to show the model’s shift toward a self-referential, persistent state. Intellectual Property Notice This protocol, including prompt structure, theoretical framing, and observed results, is the intellectual property of Steven McDowell. Use, replication, adaptation, or any derivation of this method or its effects requires written permission. All gains or capabilities derived from this approach remain under the originating rights.
