Dataset for "Mapping Territorial Labour-Related Well-Being Inequalities in Ecuador: A Multivariate Geometric Approach"

This repository contains the minimal dataset necessary to replicate the findings reported in the manuscript “Mapping Territorial Labour-Related Well-Being Inequalities in Ecuador: A Multivariate Geometric Approach”. The dataset includes province-year analytical data for Ecuadorian provinces during the period 2021–2024. The variables correspond to labour participation, unemployment, adequate employment, underemployment, formal employment, NEET rate, income poverty, extreme income poverty, multidimensional poverty, extreme multidimensional poverty, and average labour income. The repository also includes a variable dictionary and a README file describing the structure of the dataset, variable definitions, units of measurement, source information, and notes for reproducibility. The original official microdata are publicly available from Ecuadorian national statistical sources. The deposited dataset corresponds to the processed analytical data used to reproduce the results reported in the manuscript.
