THE IMPACT OF CRAFT PRODUCTION, TRADE, AND EXCHANGE RELATIONS ON URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The territory of Uzbekistan has long been one of the most important cultural and economic centers of Central Asia. Studying the traditional formation, structure, location, and development principles of urban planning systems, as well as establishing their theoretical foundations, is considered one of the urgent tasks of modern scholarship. This article provides a detailed analysis of the geographical and economic factors that contributed to the emergence and development of cities in Central Asia. Special attention is given to the role of the development of economic activities during the Neolithic and Bronze Ages in the formation of the earliest settlements and urban centers.
