资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the article "Balancing Self-Interest and Social Welfare: Experimental Evidence from Composite Utility Preferences in Distributive Decisions" . It contains anonymized experimental data collected from 211 university students who participated in a modified dictator game designed to measure the trade-off between personal monetary gain and impersonal social welfare outcomes.
Participants made ten binary allocation decisions in which they chose between Option A (higher personal gain) and Option B (greater benefit to a group of anonymous recipients). The dataset allows for the estimation of individual-level composite utility parameters that integrate self-interest and social concern using structural models.
