Proved coal reserves in Kazakhstan by type 2010-2020

Kazakhstan's coal proved reserves amounted to roughly 25.6 billion metric tons in 2020. During the period in consideration, anthracite and bituminous reserves were considerable greater than sub-bituminous and lignite reserves. Furthermore, since 2016, the country only recorded anthracite and bituminous coal.
