This dataset is a statistical table classifying the area and standing stock volume of arbor forests by age group and dominant tree species, derived from the main results of the 9th National Forest Resources Inventory. It covers the area and standing stock volume of young forests, middle-aged forests, near-mature forests and mature forests for each dominant tree species across 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China, excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
