16S rRNA sequences of fecal microbiota of wild-type and Nlrp12-deficient mice

NLRP12 is a member of NOD-like receptor (NLR). NLRP12 negatively regulates inflammatory responses and tumorigenesis in the intestine. To understand whether gut microbiota composition of Nlrp12-deficient mice contributes to colorectal tumorigenesis, wild-type (WT) and Nlrp12-deficient mice were separately or co-housed before tumor induction. The microbiota composition of separately-housed (SH) and co-housed (CH) WT and Nlrp12-deficient mice was measured 16S rRNA gene sequencing.
