List of key bacterial, archaeal and fungal genes and enzymes for the soil carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycle.

Excel file containing a list of key enzymes and the main gene encoding their synthesis (nitrogen and phosphorus cycle only) with hyperlinks forwarding to the KEGG, Expasy and Uniprot entry for the selected enzyme. This data frame was constructed during a project in an agricultural context. The data frame also contains the reaction catalyzed by the enzyme. The enzymes chosen for the carbon cycle are the main enzymes catalyzing the steps of the m.o. mineralization, methane production and oxidation. The steps selected for the nitrogen cycle are the denitrification, nitrification, assimilatory nitrate reduction, dissimilatory nitrate reduction, nitrogen fixation and the anammox step. Lastly, the chosen steps for the phosphorus cycle are the phosphorus mineralization, its solubilization and deficiency signalling.
