Transcriptomic analysis of the head Kidney 48 hours after the infection of Edwardsiella anguillarum to Japanese Eel (Anguilla japonica) immunized by different vaccines

Preparation of inactivated Edwardsiella anguillarum vaccine and outer membrane protein A (OmpA) subunit vaccine expressed by Bacillus subtilis, followed by the immunization of Japanese eels for 28 days. Subsequently, eels were infected with E. anguillarum and kidney samples were collected after 48 h of the infection. Transcriptomic sequencing technology (RNA-seq) was employed to compare the differences in transcriptome expression between the uninfected group and four infected groups of head kidneys in Japanese eel.
