HJ herbarium - Universidade Federal de Jataí - Herbário Virtual REFLORA

The Jataiense Herbarium (HJ), established in 1998 at the former Federal University of Goiás, Jataí Regional Campus (UFG-REJ), serves as a reference center for the conservation of regional flora, supporting research on plant diversity and its characteristics. It plays a crucial role in preserving the flora of forest, savanna, and grassland phytophysiognomies of the southern and western Cerrado in the state of Goiás. Currently, the herbarium holds over 9,000 registered specimens, with the largest collection comprising angiosperms from southwestern Goiás.

O Herbário Jataiense (HJ) criado em 1998, dentro da, então, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Regional Jataí (UFG-REJ), é um centro de referência de conservação da flora regional, servindo de suporte para o conhecimento da flora e suas características. Representa um local de conservação da flora das fitofisionomias florestais, savânicas e campestres do Cerrado do Sul e Oeste Goianos. Possui atualmente mais de 9.000 exemplares registrados, sendo que o maior acervo é de Angiospermas do Sudoeste Goiano.
