Kentucky Phase1 Digital Elevation Model (Image Service)

This Dynamic Image Service provides access to a seamless 5-Foot Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for all of Kentucky. This elevation data was acquired through the KyFromAbove Aerial Photography and Elevation Data Program which began in 2012. Complete statewide coverage was achieved in 2017 and Phase2 acquisitions are now underway. The DEM was derived from the ground class within KyFromAbove point cloud data and has a 5-foot point spacing. Kentucky's DEM data specifications were developed by the KyFromAbove Technical Advisory Subcommittee and adopted by the Kentucky Geographic Information Advisory Council (GIAC).
