Drill-Bit Parity: Supply-side links in oil and gas markets

This data and code in conjunction with DrillingInfo crude-oil well data and natural-gas well data can be used to replicate the empirical analysis in "Drill-Bit Parity: Supply-side links in oil and gas markets" by Ben Gilbert and Gavin Roberts in the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. This dataset includes publicly available data used in the analysis including weather and price data. The READMEDrillBit.docx file contains detailed instructions for accessing the DrillingInfo proprietary data needed for the analysis.
