In this study,liver transcriptomics and metabolomics was used to study the regulatory pathways of different FCE in LMB.These findings provide valuable insights into the genetic basis of FCE in LMB and will help implement marker-assisted selection in breeding programs. Transcriptome analysis showed that the activity, metabolic pathway and digestive pathway of serine-type endopeptidase were significantly up-regulated in the High FCE group, and the two interacted with each other to improve the absorption and utilization of nutrients by improving digestion ability, thereby improving the body's energy supply, improving the body's immune ability, and regulating FCE.
