Transcriptomic data of edited CR-hvKP

A ~3 Kb region of the ST23 hvKP virulence plasmid containing five hypothetical genes (named hp1 to hp5) was identified as consistently absent, in the plasmid of ST11 hv-CRKP. C4599 was selected as representative of ST23 CR-hvKP. The sequence of interest was knocked out using the CRISPR-Cas9 genome cleavage system based plasmids, pCasKP-pSGKP. The gene reversing assay was used to ligate the target genes of hp1-4 and hp5, respectively with a modified pEasy-T1 vector by Gibson assembly and transfer to a ST11 hv-CRKP strain C1789. This project includes transcriptome sequencing data of C4599, knockout strain, C1789 and two reversed strains.
