Strategic Appeals and Audience Alignment in Government Short Videos: A Corpus-Based Analysis

This repository contains the minimal materials required to reproduce the quantitative results reported in the manuscript. Data were retrieved from publicly accessible pages on 6 August 2024 and processed for academic research. Materials include high-frequency token statistics, rhetorical categorization labels with test–retest reliability outputs, Chinese KWIC concordance exports, the video sampling list, and analysis scripts (Python). All materials were derived from publicly accessible pages and processed for academic research. No user identifiers (e.g., usernames, user IDs, profile information) are included, and the repository does not redistribute full original platform text. During peer review, files are provided via restricted access and will be made publicly available upon publication.
