Leading health insurers India 2019 by premium growth rate

The private insurance company, HDFC Ergo led the health insurance segment in India with a premium growth rate of over 43 percent during financial year 2019. This was followed by the private insurer Bajaj at around 42 percent. The industry's gross weighted premium that year amounted to nearly 455 billion Indian rupees.
