资源简介:
Calyptratae, with more than 22,000 described species, are one of the largest clades of Diptera that originated and diversified after the K-T event and yet exhibit a more diverse array of life history strategies than any other flies, including predation, phytophagy, saprophagy, hematophagy, and parasitism. Many species within this clade are associated with humans or their livestock and are economically and medically important. Here, we present the results of the first phylogenomic analysis of calyptrate relationships. This bioproject contributes seven of the 40 species representing all calyptrate families in the study (PRJNA433892 Kutty et al). Nucleotide and amino acid data from these species was obtained from shotgun sequencing of transcriptomes. Phylogenomic analyses yield overall well-resolved and robust topologies that are largely congruent.
