Bacterial community variation during Phaeocystis globosa Bloom

In this study, we investigated the phylogenetic response of the bacterioplankton, 3-micrometre-particle-attached bacteria, colony-attached bacteria to a harmful P. globosa bloom. We aimed to answer the following questions: (1) How do environmental factors influence bacterial community structure and diversity during P. globosa blooms? (2) How does marine bacterial community response to the different stage of P. globosa bloom? (3) Which are the key prokaryotic species associated with different source (bacterioplankton, 3-micrometre-particle-attached bacteria, colony-attached bacteria) bacteria during P. globosa blooms?
