Hordeum vulgare Transcriptome or Gene expression

Low temperature is a major abiotic stress affecting crop growth and productivity. A better understanding of low temperature tolerance mechanisms in barley will contribute to improving the yield of fall-sown cereals. We herein performed an Illumina RNA-Sequencing to determine the reprogramming of gene expression as well as the genotypic difference in transcriptome profiling after freezing shock treatment.
