Cellular and molecular characterization of the dural sinuses as a neuroimmune interface [whole dura]

Meningeal immunity is critical to appropriate CNS function. Here we perform single cell RNA-sequencing to investigate how brain and meningeal stromal populations regulate immune trafficking and retention in young and old mice. Overall design: 10 young (2 months) and 10 old (24 months) mice were sacrificed with euthasol and dural meninges were collected. Dura were dissociated with collagenase 8 to obtain a single cell suspension and sorted by FACS to obtain all DAPI-Singlets.
