The purpose of this study was to profile bulk tissue gene expression on Affymetrix microarrays prior to therapy Processing of samples on this microarray platform enables direct comparison to thousands of previously-described specimens. Biopsies were acquired prior to therapy, without microdissection. RNA was extracted and processed for Affymetrix Human Exon GeneChips.
