This dataset contains simultaneously measured data of an inertial measurement unit (IMU) on the lower leg and an optical motion cluster marker set on the same lower leg. Goal of the measurements was to develop a new algorithm to estimate Drift-Free 3D Orientation and Displacement (DFOD) using the quasi-cyclical nature of lower leg movements during running. This study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki, and approved by the Ethics Committee of METC Twente.

本数据集包含小腿处搭载的惯性测量单元(inertial measurement unit, IMU)与同一小腿上安装的光学运动集群标记点的同步测量数据。本次测量的研究目标为开发一种全新算法,借助跑步过程中小腿运动的准周期性特征,实现无漂移三维姿态与位移(Drift-Free 3D Orientation and Displacement, DFOD)的估算。本研究严格遵循《赫尔辛基宣言》的相关指南开展,并已通过特温特医学伦理委员会(METC Twente)的伦理审查。
