资源简介:
The northern gundi (Ctenodactylus gundi) is a species of rodent in the family Ctenodactylidae. It is found in northern Africa on the south side of the Atlas Mountains at altitudes up to about 2,900 m (9,500 ft). Its range extends from western Libya through Tunisia and Algeria to eastern Morocco (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a female individual from Tunisia was procured by Christopher Conroy at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology at UC Berkeley to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco.
