A polarization-independent, all-optically modulated multiband metamaterial coherent perfect absorber (CPA) is proposed. Numerical results demonstrate that a wide range of amplitudes can be achieved by adjusting the phase difference between two incident light beams, with potential telecom wavelengths and simultaneous modulation of absorption at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. Additionally, we successfully realize switchable logical gates at the dip between absorption peaks. By leveraging bound states in the continuum (BIC) mode, we achieve another absorption band, expanding the absorber’s application range and enhancing flexibility Our results indicate significant potential for the development of modulated optical response devices, including optical switches, smart multi-band absorbers, and telecom devices.
