A dataset of 1km Grid Drainage Density in China(2019）

Drainage density is the result of the comprehensive action of watershed landform, climate, soil and vegetation. As a comprehensive characterization index, the measurement and monitoring of drainage density is of great significance to the environmental protection and water resources allocation in regional watersheds.. This paper uses the river water surface vector data of the third National Land Survey, extracts the river center line, and uses the kilometer grid network production software to obtain the China 1km grid drainage density data set in 2019. This data set can be used for the study of national hydrology and geomorphology analysis, climate change impact on topography, soil erosion estimation, and water resource endowment evaluation.
