Whole genome expression profiling of Arabidopsis thaliana Di19 mutant vis-à-vis wild-type

The Arabidopsis T-DNA insertion mutant of Di19-3 (SALK_072390) showed involvement in various physiological responses like photomorphogenesis, lateral rootgrowth and development. We identified that Di19 is also involved in auxin and ethylene mediated responses. Therefore, to identify the downstream pathways affected in the Di19 mutant, we performed transcriptome profiling of mutant vs wild type using Affymetrix microarray platform. Ten days old Arabidopsis seedlings for each genotype were grown on 1/2MS medium and 100 mg tissue was harvested, snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was isolated and hybridized on Arabidopsis GeneChips with two replicates for each genotype. Microarray using Affymetrix platform was performed for total of four samples, two for wild type and two for mutant.
