The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Flood Proxy Maps (FPM) covering Uttar Pradesh, India due to heavy rains. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) and ALOS-2 satellites operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
